FAQ
Questions, answered plainly
Below are the questions we hear most often from students exploring Minttendery. If something isn't covered here, the details in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy go further.
What exactly does Minttendery do?
Minttendery is a dashboard that pulls together balances and activity from multiple crypto exchange accounts into a single, readable view. It's built to help you see your overall position clearly rather than toggling between separate exchange apps.
Do you execute trades or manage my funds?
No. Minttendery is an analysis and visibility tool only. We don't place trades, move funds, or custody any assets. Your holdings remain on the exchanges where you opened accounts, and all trading decisions and actions stay with you.
How does Minttendery connect to my exchange accounts?
Connections are typically made through read-only API access, which is designed to let the dashboard pull reporting data without granting withdrawal or trading permissions. We recommend reviewing the permission scopes offered by your exchange before connecting any account.
Is Minttendery aimed specifically at students?
Yes. The dashboard was shaped around the realities of being a student investor — limited time, smaller account sizes spread across a few platforms, and a preference for a measured, informed approach rather than constant monitoring.
Does Minttendery give financial advice?
No. Everything shown in the dashboard is informational analysis of data you've connected. It is not financial, investment, or tax advice, and shouldn't be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Please see our Terms of Service for the full position.
What does "AI-assisted" mean in this context?
The AI-assisted elements help organise and summarise information you've already connected — for example, surfacing patterns across accounts or flagging changes in allocation. It's a layer on top of your own data, not a predictive or automated trading system.
How many exchanges can I connect?
The dashboard is built to handle multiple exchange connections at once. Exact limits depend on your plan, and are outlined when you set up your account.
Is my data kept secure?
We take reasonable steps to protect data you connect to Minttendery, including limiting access where possible and avoiding storage of credentials beyond what's needed to maintain a connection. Details on handling and retention are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Can I disconnect an exchange account later?
Yes. You can remove a connected account from your dashboard at any time. Disconnecting through Minttendery does not automatically revoke API permissions on the exchange itself, so we recommend also checking and revoking access directly within your exchange account settings.
Is there a cost to use Minttendery?
Pricing details are presented during sign-up and may vary depending on the plan and number of connected accounts. We don't list specific figures here to avoid confusion if terms change.
What if I only use one exchange?
Minttendery still works with a single connected account — you'll get a clearer breakdown of that one portfolio — but the dashboard is particularly useful once you're managing holdings across two or more platforms.
Who can I contact with further questions?
If this page hasn't answered something, the best starting point is to review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which cover the specifics of how the service and your data are handled.
